In a recent revelation, Slay News has uncovered a series of taxpayer-funded state dinners attended by Hunter Biden, the son of President Joe Biden, during two distinct administrations, all while he was under federal investigation for alleged questionable business practices. The attendance of these lavish events raises questions about the relationship between President Biden and his embattled son.

During the Obama and Biden administrations, Hunter Biden managed to secure invitations to at least six U.S. state dinners, four of which occurred during the Obama presidency when he was the chairman of his now-defunct investment firm, Rosemont Seneca Partners. Shockingly, he managed to attend two more during the Biden administration, all while under the looming shadow of a federal investigation into his business dealings.

Despite the mounting legal troubles surrounding his son, President Biden has shown no signs of distancing himself from Hunter. In fact, in recent months, the President has publicly appeared alongside his son in various events, even taking him along on an official state trip to Ireland in April.

One particularly noteworthy occasion was on June 22, when Hunter Biden was seen mingling with Washington D.C.’s elite during a state dinner held for Indian Prime Minister Modi at the White House. This extravagant event occurred just two days after Hunter and federal prosecutors had seemingly reached a plea deal, which has since fallen apart.

Notably, this was not the first state dinner Hunter attended during his father’s presidency. He also attended the first state dinner for French President Emmanuel Macron on December 1, 2022, when the federal investigation into his activities was still ongoing.

It’s crucial to remember that during these state dinners, Hunter was at the center of a years-long federal investigation into his shady business dealings and tax affairs, an investigation that continues to this day.

The saga began during the Obama administration when Hunter attended at least four state dinners. His first state dinner attendance was on November 24, 2009, for Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. At that time, Hunter had co-founded Rosemont Seneca Partners with Devon Archer and Chris Heinz. Chris Heinz is notable for being the stepson of John Kerry, Biden’s “climate czar,” and an heir to the vast fortune of the Heinz family food company.

Devon Archer, a longtime friend and business partner of Hunter Biden, has recently testified against the Bidens before the House Oversight Committee.

Hunter’s state dinner appearances continued with a dinner for then-British Prime Minister David Cameron on March 14, 2012, and a dinner for French President François Hollande on February 11, 2014. More than two years later, he attended Obama’s final state dinner for Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi on October 18, 2016, where he was officially listed as representing his firm, Rosemont Seneca Advisors.

In addition to state dinners, Hunter was also invited to multiple State Department luncheons during his father’s vice presidency, including three for China. Hunter and his family have been linked to various business deals in China, as previously reported.

One notable example was the state dinner for Mexican President Felipe Calderón on May 19, 2010, where Hunter’s Mexican business associate, Carlos Slim, was in attendance. The New York Post reported in 2021 that Hunter and Slim were both invited to a State Department luncheon during Calderon’s visit, which was hosted by Joe Biden and then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

The following year, Obama hosted a state dinner for Chinese President Hu Jintao on January 19, 2011, and Hunter, along with Devon Archer, attended a State Department luncheon earlier that day, hosted by Vice President Biden.

These events shed light on the extent of Hunter Biden’s involvement in high-profile diplomatic gatherings and the potential conflicts of interest that may have arisen from his presence. The emails exchanged around these events also suggest networking opportunities and potential favors being sought.

While these state dinners and luncheons were undoubtedly significant, what’s even more striking is the fact that Hunter Biden managed to attend two additional state dinners during his father’s presidency, despite the ongoing federal investigation into his activities. The question remains: Why did President Biden allow his son to continue attending these high-profile events while facing such serious legal challenges?

Slay News will continue to investigate this story and bring you updates as more information becomes available.
