Joe Biden’s Intentional Crisis!

In a startling development that continues to reverberate through American politics, the ongoing surge of illegal border crossings into the United States has reached unprecedented levels, with some days witnessing the unlawful entry of up to 10,000 individuals. To put this into perspective, it’s worth recalling that during the Obama administration, a mere tenth of that number was considered a crisis. The origins of this current emergency can be traced squarely to President Joe Biden, whose words and actions have sent a clear message to potential illegal border crossers worldwide: if you come to the United States, you will be permitted to stay.

However, recent developments have begun to strain the patience of prominent Democrats, most notably New York City Mayor Eric Adams. He’s voiced concerns about an estimated 110,000 new asylum seekers arriving in his city, warning that the cost of providing for these newcomers threatens to “destroy New York City.” While Adams initially attempted to shift blame to Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott for sending illegal border crossers to New York, the fact remains that Abbott has only dispatched 13,000 individuals. The presence of the remaining 97,000 in New York is a direct consequence of President Biden’s policies.

As some Democrats raise their voices in protest, news reports suggest that President Biden may be feeling the pressure to address the situation. In response, he has devised a solution that, at first glance, seems counterintuitive: expedite the entry of inadmissible migrants into the United States. This approach may seem bewildering, but it provides a critical insight into President Biden’s stance on the border crisis. With daily illegal crossings at a historic high, the president possesses the authority and means to secure the U.S. border. The only plausible explanation for allowing this situation to persist is if the president, in fact, desires it.

Early on in the border crisis, it was apparent that the president was not striving to halt the influx of illegal crossers but was rather attempting to accommodate them, scrambling to find housing and living arrangements for those who arrived. The message had spread worldwide, and now the world was responding.

Now, President Biden is taking a step further. With the flow of migrants reaching unprecedented levels, he’s using U.S. government resources not to slow it down but to accelerate it. This is not an unintended crisis; it’s a deliberate one.

The New York Times reports that nearly half a million migrants from Venezuela will “be allowed to immediately apply for work authorization.” This move is intended to alleviate the financial burden of housing refugees in major cities across the country while also protecting them from deportation for at least the next 18 months. While this may temporarily appease Mayor Adams, it also creates a stronger incentive for Venezuelans to come to the U.S. as quickly as possible.

However, the question arises: how did these migrants from Venezuela reach the United States in the first place? The answer lies in a little-known Biden administration program called CBP One, a parole program designed to release migrants into the United States quickly and without public scrutiny. According to the Center for Immigration Studies, this program allows inadmissible aliens to book commercial passenger flights directly to U.S. airports in their chosen cities, bypassing the border altogether. The program encompasses migrants from Venezuela, Cuba, Nicaragua, and Haiti, who request “advance travel authorizations” through the CBP One mobile app and take commercial flights, paying for them at their own expense. Upon arrival at U.S. airports, Customs officers parole them into the nation, sight unseen and in undisclosed numbers.

The scale of this program is significant. Through Freedom of Information Act requests, the Center for Immigration Studies obtained data on the flights in 2023, revealing that the administration has permitted 221,456 migrants to enter through this program this year alone. Monthly figures show no signs of decline, with 29,120 migrants admitted in May, 29,506 in June, and 28,669 in August, among others.

The opacity surrounding the program is also a cause for concern. The administration has not disclosed which airports have received these migrants, leaving local leaders in the dark about the sudden influx of people courtesy of the U.S. government.

Now, the White House is offering immediate work authorization not only to migrants who crossed the land border illegally but also to those who participated in the secretive flight program. This move is likely to entice more migrants to come, whether by foot over the border or via undisclosed airports.

In light of these developments, it is essential to scrutinize any administration claims that President Biden is actively working to bring the border situation under control. The evidence suggests otherwise. The ongoing surge of illegal border crossings, coupled with policies that expedite entry, paints a picture of a deliberate and intentional crisis, rather than a concerted effort to secure the U.S. border.
